Custom Media Room, Dallas, TX
Design Task:
Create a uniquely designed Media Room that complements client’s love of art while delivering an immersive theater experience. Keep the components from view where possible by using in-wall speakers (some behind the screen) and racking components in back cabinets. Insulate the room through use of innovative sound barriers installed during the constructions process. Create a true movie experience by installing a 2.35 aspect ratio screen and integrate it into the room by using a curved screen that matched the contour of the wall. Add lighting control to highlight artwork and create compelling “scenes” for entertaining and watching TV. Control all elements of the room from a single touch panel remote control.

Ranch Complex, West of Fort Worth
Design Task:
Design a complete audio, video, voice, data, and control system for a large multi-use residential complex spread out over four buildings. Work with architects and general contractor to design system and cabling infrastructure from initial drawings. Multiple music zones that draw upon satellite, iPod, CD, and digitized music library. Multiple video setups with surround sound, satellite TV and Blu-Ray players. Integrate HVAC and lighting control. Integrate Security System and C CTV cameras. Allow complete control and surveillance over internet.

Design Task:
Integrate 15 different displays with multi-source and multi-zone music system. Allow for control from bar or from handheld remote. Allow for AM/FM input to broadcast local football games, CD, iPod and satellite music. For video, allow for satellite, DVD, live camera, and PC inputs to play on any of the screens. Enable complete A/V zoning to segment main dining room from private dining facilities.
